day 1.
Arrive in Kochi – Munnar
On arrival at Cochin Airport or Railway Station, meet our tour coordinator and begin
your journey to Munnar — a scenic hill station known as the “nature lover’s paradise”
with its sprawling tea plantations and misty landscapes. En route, visit Cheeyappara
and Valara Waterfalls, enjoy a short Ayurvedic plantation tour (20-minute guided
program), and stop by the Chenkulam Dam for panoramic views and photo
opportunities. Upon reaching Munnar, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free
to relax at the hotel. Overnight stay at Munnar.
day 2.
Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, get ready to explore the best of Munnar, often called the Kashmir of
South India. Visit the Eravikulam National Park (Rajamala) — online ticket booking is
recommended — followed by a visit to the Tea Museum, Rose Garden, and Photo
Point. Continue to Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point, and finally, visit the scenic
Blossom Hydel Park. With its lush tea gardens, fresh mountain air, and vibrant flower
beds, Munnar promises a rejuvenating day. Return to your hotel. Overnight stay at
Munnar.
day 3.
Munnar – Thekkad
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel before departing for Thekkady, home to the
famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. On the way, enjoy the scenic beauty of the hills and
forests. Once in Thekkady, you can explore Periyar National Park and opt for a boat
ride on Periyar Lake — tickets are available online. In the evening, you can enjoy
optional cultural experiences such as an elephant safari, a live Kalaripayattu (martial
arts) show, or a traditional Kathakali performance (tickets to be purchased before 5
PM). After the show, return to your hotel. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
day 4.
Thekkady – Alleppey
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Alleppey, popularly known
as the Venice of the East. On the way, make a quick stop at Valanjaganam Waterfalls.
Upon arrival at Alappuzha, board your private houseboat and receive a non-alcoholic
welcome drink. The cruise will take you through tranquil backwaters, passing coconut
lagoons and traditional village scenes. Lunch will be served on board as the boat glides
through Vembanad Lake, C-block, and Kainakary Village in the Kuttanad region. The
boat anchors by evening as per government rules, allowing locals to fish using
traditional nets.
Note: Houseboat check-in is at 12 PM and check-out is at 9 AM. Overnight stay on the
houseboat.
day 5.
Alleppey – Kochi – Departure
After a refreshing breakfast on the houseboat, check out and drive to Kochi for a local
sightseeing tour. Visit key landmarks like the Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace (closed
on Fridays), Chinese Fishing Nets, Marine Drive (optional boating), Fort Kochi Beach,
St. Francis Basilica, and Mattancherry. Later, visit the local markets to shop for
souvenirs. Depending on your return schedule, you can also explore nearby beaches or
relax before heading to the airport or railway station for your departure.
We hope to see you again soon and promise to turn your next travel dream into a
memorable journey. Depart with sweet and everlasting memories of God’s Own
Country
